Will the middle school be fully accredited? Yes! North Christian School is accredited by Cognia from pre-kindergarten through middle school.

When can I enroll my child? Open enrollment begins on February 10th. This is for any student interested in attending NCS for the 2025-2026 school year not currently enrolled.

What curriculum will middle school utilize? Our middle school will utilize BJU curriculum for English, Science, Math, Literature, and Heritage Studies (Ancient Civilizations). We will utilize the Bible Curriculum published by Purposeful Design.

How many students will be in the middle school classes? We will cap the class at 20 students per grade.

Do you accept the Hope Scholarship? Yes! NCS is a vendor for the Hope Scholarship. Feel free to visit hopescholarshipwv.com to get your questions answered and to apply. There are no income requirements for this scholarship! CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION

Do you offer any additional tuition assistance? Yes! We have a NCS Scholarship fund you may apply for if you do not qualify for the Hope Scholarship. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION

Will there be sports? We will not be participating in Wood County middle school sports until we open a 7th grade next school year. However, once we do open additional middle school grade levels, and if we have the interest, we will participate in Wood County sports.

Will middle school be in the same building as the rest of the school? Yes! Our middle schoolers will be in the annex with their own classrooms and teachers.

Is the building secure? We have completed significant security updates over the past year within our building. We have over 40 security cameras inside and outside of the school, upgraded air lock entrances, a recently upgraded and secure playground, walkie talkies with every staff member, and all staff have been trained in CPR/First Aid, ALICE, and have taken Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training.  We practice all our emergency drills frequently, to ensure faculty and student safety.

Will middle school have “specials” built into their schedules? Yes! Our students will have Physical Education/Wellness, Art, Library, Music, and Character Development.
